Elettaria cardamomum plant produces cardamom essential oil, which is known as  Elettaria cardamomum var. The plant is a member of the Zingiberaceae family and is also popular with various other names such as cardamom, cardamom, and Mysore cardamom. This perennial reed usually grows in wild areas and is commonly found in countries like India and Ceylon. The plant has a height of 4 meters and it also contains long green silky blades. Plus, it contains a large fleshy rhizome, which resembles ginger. The oblong gray fruits attached to the plant follow the beautiful flowers, and each of them comes with several seeds.
