Although rose water and orange flower water have been commercially available for a very long time, ‘Hydrosols’ have only been introduced to the market especially in the field of aromatherapy in a consistent manner, in recent years. At Mahi Globals, our researchers observed two main reasons –the (assumption of) transportation costs sliding down financial returns down (in a ‘the-QUALITY-never-compromised-with’ situation) and the scientific unawareness due to which the vast majority of hydrosols went down the drain as waste water from the distillation process.The production of hydrosols at Mahi Globals is carefully undertaken wherein the plant material is distilled in closed equipment. The hydrosols never see the ‘light of day’ and hence ruling out any possibility of atmospheric contamination. Furthermore, the heat arising from distillation pasteurizes the ‘water’ making it safe for immediate use. Subsequently, the bottling of our hydrosols is an in-house activity and not outsourced to the later following supply-chain channels.
